How Do I Make a Homeschool Diploma?
Question: Where can I order a homeschool diploma?
Hi, Jennifer.
My homeschooled son will be graduating from high school in May. I’ve just about completed his transcript, but am wondering how to go about getting him a diploma. I remember seeing the ones you gave your kids at graduation, and I really liked them. Where did you order them?
Kaye
Answer: Why not make or print your own?
Hi, Kaye.
I’ve always enjoyed calligraphy, so the diplomas we’ve awarded our graduates were handmade. You are welcome to use it as a pattern for your own if you like doing that sort of thing yourself.
If calligraphy is not your jam, you can also order a ready-made diploma online. The Diploma Store has several styles from which to choose, all for about $15 to $20, including shipping.
If you prefer to print it yourself, you’ll find a wide array of free diploma templates on Canva.
Here are a few mock-ups I did to give you an idea of what’s available, but they have dozens more styles to choose from. These templates are all FREE. You do not have to sign up for Canva Pro to access and use them (although, if you’re a creator, you may decide their pro-account is totally worth it.)
All of Canva’s templates are fully customizable, so you’ll only be out a few minute’s time plus the cost of your paper.
Congratulations to your son on his graduation, Kaye, and to you, for persevering to the end!
