Sticky Buns for Breakfast

Sticky Buns for BreakfastMmm-mmm! Our house is filled with the smell of scrumptious sticky buns. They’re super easy, and my family loves them. What’s more, they’re fun to make, and little helpers can easily get in on the “shake-and-bake” action. We’ve tried several different recipes for these over the years. What follows is our favorite.

Ingredients you’ll need:

2 tubes of flaky biscuits
1/2 cup butter (melted)
4 Tbsp pancake syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 2 muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray. Combine the melted butter, syrup, brown sugar and nuts in a small bowl, then spoon into bottom of muffin tins. Set aside.

Combine white sugar and cinnamon in a ziplock bag. Cut biscuits into small pieces (6-8 pieces per biscuit). Drop all the pieces into the bag of cinnamon sugar, seal, and shake, then open bag and transfer coated pieces into muffin tins.

Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Serve warm with a tall glass of cold milk. Yum!
