Put on the Full Armor of God (Coloring Page)
A soldier would never willingly rush into battle without his weapon and protective gear. But how often do we Christians rush into our day without first suiting up? If we want to live victoriously, we need to make use of the sword and shield and helmet and breastplate our Maker has provided for our protection. We need to put on the full armor of God.
We are doing battle — not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities, against this present darkness and spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It would be foolish to face such an onslaught unprepared.
So the verse featured in this week’s “Scripture Sunday” coloring page is this:
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11)
The victory has already been won. We just need to learn how to walk in it!
If you like coloring, come back next week. I publish a new Bible-based coloring page every Sunday. (Follow this link to see them all: Christian coloring pages)
If you’d prefer a bound collection of coloring pages, check out my “Color the Word” series. I designed these richly-detailed, Scripture-based coloring books with grown-ups in mind, but they can be enjoyed by all ages.
For those who enjoy journaling as well as coloring, my devotional journals offer the best of both worlds.
