Sleep in Peace Coloring Page
Whew! What a week it’s been! So many things seem to be hanging in the balance for our country right now. If it weren’t for my unshakable faith in the sovereignty of God, I could’ve been tossing and turning for days now. Instead, I’ve been able to sleep in peace, just as this week’s coloring page proclaims.
This printable features Psalm 4:8: “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Is that true for you? It is for me! I’m out like a light as soon as my head hits the pillow.
The Bible has a lot to say about resting in peace:
- “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you rest, your sleep will be sweet.” (Proverbs 3:24)
- “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
- “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
- “And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
Today’s coloring page first appeared in Sweet Child of Mine, my devotional journal for moms. It joins eleven other titles in this growing collection.
