Today’s Home Sweet Home coloring page stirs up a lot of thoughts in me.

I love my earthly home. And I love the family that shares it with me. But more and more these days, God is reminding me that the house in which we presently live is only temporary lodging.

This world and everything in it is fading away, and I am only passing through, on my way to an eternal home Christ has prepared for me in heaven.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:2-4)
