True Love Word Find Puzzle (Free Printable)

February may be National Wedding Month. But for our family, June seems to the month of choice for tying the knot. Three of our sons and both sets of grandparents were married in June. Judging by all the wedding invitations we receive this time of year, June is pretty popular amongst other folks, too.

Emotions run high when two starry-eyed people stand at an altar pledging life and love to one another. I’ve been known to shed a few tears myself while witnessing the nuptials of friends and family members alike.

But unless love is anchored in something more solid and steadfast than warm, gushy feelings, it’s destined to fail. The Bible paints a great picture of what lasting love looks like in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

“Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”

Today I’m sharing a little True Love Word Find puzzle I created for one of the many bridal showers I’ve hosted over the years. It lists the characteristics of lasting love we find in 1 Corinthians 13 and in other Bible passages.

So give it a try. I trust you’ll be able to find all the words in this puzzle without much difficulty. It’s far more challenging to find, exhibit, and cultivate this kind of true love in life. The surest way I know to do so is by tapping into the love of God and allowing Him to love others through you.
