Printable Family Camp Memory Game

Our family is camping out this week with kids and grandkids, so I brought along a few camp-themed activities to help keep little ones entertained.

First on the agenda was a brand new, free printable, camping concentration memory game, which turned out to be even more popular than I suspected it would be.

The longer we played, the more people joined us. Soon other children from adjacent campsites were wandering over to join in the fun.

Pretty soon we had a whole table full of pint-sized players who were more than happy to keep playing until dark.

Eventually, older siblings and parents joined in the fun as well, trying to make the most matches — a feat which was made a little more challenging by the fact our youngest competitors didn’t always put the cards back in the place they’d started in. 🙄

We printed our cards on heavy scrapbook paper that had a pretty pattern on one side and was white on the other. Then we laminated the cards for extra durability, since we camp together every fall and plan to enjoy this game for years to come.
