Free Printable Merry Christmas Pennant Banner
I intended to post this free printable Merry Christmas banner much earlier in the month, but Christmas isn’t here yet! So you’ve still got time.
In fact, I know at least one or two families who don’t even begin decorating their homes until Christmas Day, then leave everything up until the Epiphany on January 6.
Ever heard of The Twelve Days of Christmas? Those are the dates that lengthy Christmas song is all about: December 25 through January 6.
So, just in case you want to do some eleventh-hour decorating — or give your kids and grandkids a fun craft to keep them busy while waiting for dinner or for extended family to arrive — here’s the file you’ll need to print a Merry Christmas pennant banner like the one pictured above:
But I’ve also made a full-size version, in case you have a longer mantle or extra-wide doorway you want to festoon. In either case, I recommend printing on plain white or cream card stock for durability.
We’ve been using our homemade pennant banners (like this one) for years. I store them in a plastic ziplock bag, and they look as fresh and new as the day I first created them.
