Living in Harmony Coloring Page
Here’s a special coloring verse for Mother’s Day, featuring a verse that mothers the world over will attest is true:
“Behold how good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony.” (Psalm 133:1) And that goes for sisters, too.
Is there a mother on earth whose heart is not grieved to hear her children bickering and arguing and picking on one another?
But what blessed peace reigns in the home where siblings relate to one another with love and patience and understanding and genuine compassion one for another?
I got to see some of that this weekend when some of our adult children came in from out of town for a short visit. I’m thankful that they love me and my husband and want to spend time with us. But I’m especially thankful to see how close they remain with one another.
They still enjoy playing games and visiting and encouraging and praying for one another. When one hurts, so do the siblings. When one is glad, the others rejoice and celebrate as well.
Wouldn’t it be great if the family of God could relate to one another with that same sort of grace and mercy and tenderness of heart? Don’t you thing it would gladden our Father’s heart if his children could learn to live together in harmony, too?
