Free Printable Thank You Cards
November is upon us — a time for numbering our blessings and giving thanks. To that end, I’m sharing an assortment of free printable thank you cards I designed for the occasion.
My goal is to send a little note of appreciation to a different person every day for the entire month of November.
This is really just a variation of a New Year’s resolution I made back in January to write a letter a day (though not specifically a thank you note) all year long. I’ve stuck with that goal for over 300 days so far, so this little challenge should be a piece of cake by comparison.
After all, there are so many people in our lives who bless us in one way or other: spouses, parents, children, friends, neighbors, co-workers, doctors, nurses, pastors, teachers, community workers, hairdressers, waitresses, store clerks — the list goes on and on. Sometimes it’s easy to take such folks for granted or to overlook the kind things they do on our behalf, but when we’re intentional about keeping our eyes open and being observant, we see all sorts of actions worthy of acknowledgement and appreciation.
Want to join me? Then print out a few sets of these cards to get started. You might even want to print a sheet of these envelope seals to match.
Your thank you notes don’t have to be anything elaborate — just a few sentences detailing what it is about the person that makes you grateful to know him (or her). Then stamp and address it and drop it in the mail.
By the time Thanksgiving rolls around in a few weeks, you’ll have already counted a couple of dozen blessings and be in the proper frame of mind to celebrate the goodness of God for placing so many wonderful people and faithful friends in your life.
Thank YOU so much for sharing your time and talents!
I am trying to imagine writing a letter a day for a year!!!
You are welcome, Tracy. The daily letter writing sounds like more work than it really is. I spend three to five minutes a day jotting down a note of encouragement, which translates into a couple of hours per month — or about the time it takes to watch one movie. That’s not so onerous, is it? Plus, it makes me happy to send the cards and makes the recipients happy to receive them, so it’s a win-win. 🙂
