God Holds Me Fast (Free Coloring Page)

It has been awhile since I’ve published one of my Scripture Sunday coloring pages. In fact, I haven’t posted much of anything for several weeks. (Sorry about that.)

But this verse was a comfort to me today, so I wanted to share it with you.

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.” – Psalm 139:9-10, NIV

I’m grateful to know that, no matter where I go, no matter how far from home I travel, the Lord God holds me fast.

And that’s not only true of me, but of my family members, too. It’s true of the children who are still under my roof. True of the newlyweds who live down the street. True of the grandchildren who live half an hour — or half a world — away.

Unfortuanately, our family’s travel plans this summer had to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.

Maybe you’re sticking close to home, too. Or maybe you’re embarking on the trip of a lifetime. Either way, I pray God will go with you and keep you safe.

Also — whether you go or stay — I hope you will take comfort in the knowledge that there is a God in heaven. One who sees you, knows you, and watches over you, both at home and abroad.
