Seek Me and Find Me (Coloring Page)
The fact that today is National Scavenger Hunt Day provided the inspiration for this week’s free printable coloring page. It features a verse from Jeremiah. Here God tells the exiled Israelites, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
Jesus also spoke of whole-hearted devotion when He was questioned about the law. We read in Matthew:
When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together. One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him. ‘Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?’ And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment.'” (Matthew 22:34-38)
Hold Nothing Back
Elsewhere in Scripture we read of whole-hearted faith and whole-hearted service and whole-hearted repentance.
- “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- “But be sure to fear the LORD and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you.” (1 Samuel 12:24)
- “‘Yet even now,’ declares the LORD, ‘return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.’ So rend your hearts and not your garments, and return to the LORD your God. For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion….” (Joel 2:12-13)
In other words, God isn’t interested in half-hearted commitment. You know the old saying? If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right? Well, God makes it clear that the right way to love and serve and honor Him is with every fiber of our being. With every ounce of strength we possess. With every corner of our heart, nothing held back.

Love the colouring pages..can they be printed say 4 by 6? Do I need a app to change the size? Thanks for all the freebies..
You’re welcome, Val. You should be able to print it smaller without an app. To do this on my computer, I just click on “scale” in the print dialogue box. If you set it to about 50%, it will cut each dimension in half and print it approximately the size you want. Not sure what the options are on your computer, but I imagine you can play with it a little and get it to work.
