House of Prayer Coloring Page
It has been a while since I posted one of my “Scripture Sunday” coloring pages. But this House of Prayer printable seemed appropriate for these uncertain times.
It highlights something Jesus said in Mark 11:17.
And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.'”
I know Jesus was speaking in reference to the temple. But the same should be true of our homes, as well. I want my house to be a house of prayer. Don’t you?
I want my children to see me and their dad taking our needs — both big and small — before the Lord. Praying fervently. Faithfully. Expectantly. And without ceasing. (James 5:16; Romans 12:12; 1 John 5:14-15; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
And I want them to learn to boldly approach the throne of grace themselves. (Hebrews 4:16)
