Texas State Pledge Printable
My youngest daughter is taking Texas History at our homeschool co-op this year, and one of her very first assignments is to memorize the Texas State Pledge.
I created the following printable way back in 2014 when some of my older kids were studying Texas history. But when I was searching for it this time around, I quickly realized I’d never published it on the blog. It’s just been languishing in my draft folder for years now, not doing anybody any good.
So this seems as right a time as any to post it. If nothing else, it will give Abby’s classmates a fun way to review what they’re learning. 😊
My husband and I plus every one of our children and the vast majority of our grandchildren were all born and bred in Texas. And, although it looked earlier this year as if Doug’s job situation might force us to leave our great state, I’m happy to report everything worked out for us to stay right where we are, among our family and friends in the Piney Woods of East Texas. And so we’ll continue to “Honor the Texas Flag. I pledge allegiance to you, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible!”
