Mailbag Monday: Report Cards for Middle Schoolers
My inbox is overflowing with questions from readers, so I’ve decided to tackle one per week until I get it cleaned out. Here’s the first:
Dear Jennifer,
I just viewed your printable report card and I really like it; however, I have a middle school student and the reading and handwriting topics subjects don’t apply anymore.
Do have a similar version for jr. high? Or a downloadable version where I can fill in our own subjects?
Thanks so much.
Stephanie
Dear Stephanie,
That’s a great idea. I’ve uploaded both a blank report card you can fill out yourself and a report card with standard secondary subjects already listed.
These cards look best printed on white or pastel cardstock and folded in half.
Readers who are still homeschooling younger children can find primary report cards here. Also, for a great list of local businesses that offer rewards for good grades, follow this link.
I hope that helps!
Thank you so much for this report card! We’ve been using it for the last 4 years and love it.
You’re welcome, Lydia. It always makes me happy to hear my resources have been helpful to others!
Hello Jennifer! Thank you for posting this! Question: what do you use the 1,2,3,4 at the top for? And when do you think you will have your 2018-2019 academic calendars out?? Love those!
Thanks for your kind comments, Allie. The 2018-19 academic calendar is already available. You can download it here: https://www.flandersfamily.info/web/2018/04/09/academic-calendar-2018-19/ I’ll try to add the academic calendar to the printables page ASAP so it will be easier to find in the future.
Also, the 1, 2, 3, 4 across the top of my report card printables are for quarterly grades. If my memory serves me right, I also offer a semester version that is divided into six-week segments.
I am sharing this template with our homeschool co-op. Thank you so much!
You’re so welcome! Thank you for telling your friends about us. We love it when readers do that!
