Scherenschnitte Patterns

I love all varieties of handcrafting, but one of my longtime favorites is the German art of paper cutting, also known as Scherenschnitte. The investment is minimal — all you really need is a good supply of paper plus a small pair of sharp scissors — but the results are stunning!

I’ve given intricate cut paper designs as gifts, framed and hung them on the wall, mounted and sold them as greeting cards, and strung them up and hung them as Christmas ornaments. The possibilities are endless!
